School of metallurgy and environment with Outotec agree in having further and deeper cooperation

On may 31th, the symposium of improving cooperation within Outotec and school of metallurgy and environment was successfully held in the college room 201. Outotec’s CTO kari knuutila, China region president Jogn Hebenton, the Dean of school of metallurgy and environment ,Chai Li-yuan ,professor Wang Wan-lin, professor Liu Zhi-hong, professor Yang Tian-zu and other teacher attend the symposium.

Professor Chai conduct the symposium and welcomed Outotec company to the school of metallurgy and environment, he introduced the innovating and creativity achievements of the college for nearly one year. At the same time, Professor chai detailed explained the significance and the advantages of the deep cooperation of the both sides in building a research lab , including talent training and technology developing、financing、policy supporting and the national development strategy .

kari knuutila, the representative of Outotec, expressed their strong will to have a deeper cooperation and build the research lab. He said,In recent years, china has been playing an important role in Outotec’ global plan,with the developing business in china, Outotec has a high demand in human resources and technologies . Cooperation with Central south school of the metallurgy and environment is the best way to satisfy this demand.

At last, Professor chai gave specific plan about cooperation, adviced both of them to designate representatives to from a working group. He stressed,‘why’、‘what’、‘how’ are the basic steps to achieve the goal, and adopting multiple protective measures is necessary to insure the lab could function well.
